This Privacy Policy explains how Ascend Life Coach LLC (d/b/a Resurgo) ("Resurgo," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Resurgo mobile application and related services (the "Service"). By using Resurgo, you agree to this Policy.

Who can use Resurgo

Resurgo is intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Information we collect

Information you give us

• Account details — your name and email address (provided directly or through Sign in with Apple, Google, or email).
• Onboarding & profile — the answers you provide to personalize your plan, which may include your date of birth, sex, height, weight, general location, goals, lifestyle, schedule, motivations, and other context about your life.
• Content you create — your plans, logged activity, notes, reflections, meal choices, and messages you send to your coach.

Information collected automatically

• Usage & device data — how you interact with the app, app version, device type, operating system, and diagnostic/crash data.
• Purchase data — your subscription and purchase status (we receive this from Apple and our billing provider; we never see your card number).

How we use your information

• To create and personalize your plan, coaching, and content.
• To operate, maintain, and improve the Service.
• To process subscriptions and purchases.
• To send you important notices about your account or the Service.
• To keep the Service safe and to comply with the law.

AI-generated content

Resurgo uses artificial-intelligence providers to generate your personalized plans, coaching, and other content. To do this, the relevant information you provide is sent to these providers to process on our behalf. They are contractually limited to processing your data for the purpose of delivering the Service. We do not sell your personal information.

Service providers we share data with

We share information only with trusted providers who help us run the Service, and only as needed:

• Google Firebase — authentication, database, hosting, analytics, and crash reporting.
• Apple — sign-in and payment processing.
• RevenueCat — subscription management.
• AI providers (including Anthropic, ElevenLabs, and fal.ai) — to generate plans, coaching, voice, and imagery.
• Analytics/advertising partners — to understand usage and measure marketing.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or users' safety, or in connection with a business transfer.

How long we keep your data

We keep your information while your account is active. If your subscription lapses, your data is preserved (not deleted) so you can pick up where you left off if you return. You can delete your account at any time from within the app, which removes your personal data from our active systems, subject to limited legal or backup retention.

Your choices and rights

• Access & correction — you can view and update much of your information in the app.
• Deletion — delete your account in the app, or email us to request deletion.
• Notifications — control push notifications in your device settings.
• Tracking — on first launch, iOS asks your permission before any tracking for advertising or measurement. If you decline, we don't track you across other apps or websites. You can change this anytime in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
• Depending on where you live (e.g., California or the EU/UK), you may have additional rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict use of your data. Contact us to exercise them.

Security

We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we work hard to protect your data.

Data location

Your information is processed and stored in the United States and by our service providers. By using the Service you consent to this processing.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We'll update the date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app or by email.
